Château Monestier La Tour, Grand Vin Blanc 2019, Bergerac AOC, France
A biodynamic property in the heart of Bergerac
Ecocert ORGANIC certification
The vineyards of Château Monestier La Tour lie in the heart of Périgord
Pourpre, the ‘Purple Périgord’. The undulating hillsides of this part of the
Dordogne are natural, unspoilt and steeped in history, with traces of
ancient châteaux and small medieval villages adding to their timeless
charm.
It was this privileged spot that the Scheufele family chose for their
winemaking venture, a setting completely in harmony with the environment.
This region is known for its commitment to sustainable viticulture, with
more developed organic and biodynamic vineyards than any other.

TASTING NOTES
A brilliant and clear pale yellow colour with green tints. On the nose, nice aromatic notes of white flowers, anise, pear flesh, and almond.
A mouth, ample on the attack, a pleasant freshness, a fresh and noble volume. Nice balance with aromas of white fruits, nettle and a hint of peach. A tense and elegant final. Served at 10° with grilled red mullet or a filet of poultry with morels.
